Commission a Custom Painting
Some of the most requested commissioned pieces have been stacks of favorite books, portraits of people and pets, and buildings (think of your first home, where you met someone special, a favorite coffee house, etc.). So please choose from the options below to get a custom piece. If you’d like to add a person to your “People Portrait,” a pet to your “Pet Portrait,” digital version, or hand lettering to any piece, please select these additional options as needed from the menu.

Next Steps
When you’ve placed an order, please send the following information via email:
- 2-4 reference photos
- Color preferences, if any
- If you’re ordering paintings of books, please include the titles and authors in the email.
Once I’ve received your email with reference images and other details, commissioned pieces take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete.
My work is completed on 300gsm paper with artist’s grade watercolor and gouache paint with details completed in archival ink.
Please Note: This art is not returnable. If an item has been damaged in transit a new piece will be created and sent.
Original Art
I’m always working on new pieces of original artwork, so check the shop page often if you’d like some Dainty Knotts Art but aren’t interested in commissioned pieces quite yet.
